Pickerings Lifts Promotes Church to Newly Created Role

U.K.-based Pickerings Lifts has announced the promotion of James Church from Repairs manager at the company’s Scotland office to National Operations manager. The role of National Operations manager is newly created for Pickerings Lifts to help the company manage upcoming projects and drive the introduction of new technologies as it continues to develop its senior team’s specialties. Managing Director Paul Brooks said, “As the business grows, we continue to build the breadth of our management expertise within our current structure. James brings with him a wealth of experience in driving processes and projects from an engineering perspective. Initially the role will be working with our Lift and Access Products Modernization team to drive efficiencies and introduce a new perspective.” Pickerings Lifts is the largest independent lift service company in the U.K. and the trusted partner to thousands of businesses and organizations. Established in 1854, Pickerings Lifts is still owned by the original family, with 14 regional offices and 395 employees, offering engineering expertise to the retail, hospitality, industrial, logistics, transportation, healthcare and government sectors.
