The plan involves tearing down an existing three-story apartment and the surface parking lot that 10/8 are at the location. The current apartment building contains 31 units and was sold earlier this year for US$4.4 million. The potential tower would include 612 residential units and three floors of commercial space. Of those units, there would be 144 studio, 252 alcove studios, 204 one-bedroom units and 12 three-bedroom units. Plans for a 27-story development for the location first surfaced in June 2020.
