Residential Skyscraper with TKE VT Tops Out In Hudson Yards

451 Tenth Avenue, a 587-ft-tall, 45-story skyscraper in NYC’s Hudson Yards designed by Handel Architects and developed by Related Cos., topped out in July, New York YIMBY reports. TK Elevator (TKE), the official vertical-transportation (VT) provider for Hudson Yards, tells ELEVATOR WORLD the tower is served by nine gearless, two hydraulic twin-post, one hydraulic conventional and one hydraulic home elevator. Situated on an L-shaped lot at Tenth Avenue and West 35th Street, 451 Tenth Avenue features several stepped setbacks on the podium levels and will have a light-and-dark curtain wall with terracotta panels between floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities will include a movie theater and outdoor swimming pool. Completion is slated for October 2022.
