John Rose has taken the position of vice president (VP) of modernization and construction at NYC-based TEI Group, filling a role previously held by Kevin Lynch, who is retiring. Rose has more than 14 years’ industry experience, mostly at TK Elevator (TKE), where he held various project management and field supervisor positions. He spent six years as NYC construction operations manager for TKE, executing high-profile projects such as NYU Kimmel Hospital, 425 Park Avenue, Queens Park Plaza and 50 Hudson Yards. Rose says he “loves the planning and problem-solving that goes into successfully delivering a project on time and on budget.” He is a graduate of Seton Hall University and holds a B.S. in finance from Stillman School of Business. TEI Group President Mark Gregorio said Rose is the “perfect match” for a complex and challenging position, and wished Lynch, who he described as “an industry powerhouse with 44 years’ experience” well in retirement.
