Schindler Names Ming as Interim BoD Chairman

Schindler Group announced on January 20 it will elect Josef Ming as chairman of the Board of Directors (BoD) at its March 25 meeting. A Swiss national, Ming is a partner at consulting firm Bain & Co., and has more than 30 years’ experience in industrial and management consulting, including with Schindler. Ming succeeds Silvio Napoli, who announced his departure as president and CEO in December 2024. As interim BoD president, Ming will hold the position with a 40% workload for up to two years, after which a “long-term,” “full-time” BoD president or chairman will be named.
