Seattle-Based Elevator Consulting Services Joins VDA

Vertical-transportation (VT) consultancy VDA, Inc., headquartered in East Hanover, New Jersey, announced on November 11 that Elevator Consulting Services, Inc., (ECS), based in Seattle with offices in Portland, Oregon, and Honolulu, Hawaii, has joined the VDA family of companies. ECS has provided VT consulting to clients throughout the Northwestern U.S. and Hawaii for more than 30 years. “What drew me to VDA was the impressive roster of experienced consultants and the integrity, honesty and customer focus that runs throughout their organization,” ECS President Greg Ernst said. The merger, Ernst said, ensures ECS will continue to provide exceptional service to existing customers, as well as expand its client base throughout the Northwestern region and Hawaii. VDA Senior Vice President of Existing Installation Consulting Bobby Kemple said the merger “not only expands our reach in the Northwest, but effectively leverages the relationships, skillsets and best practices that have positioned ECS” as a market leader.
