Sheridan Lifts has been awarded a contract to maintain the lifts for Cardinal Newman College in Preston, Lancashire, England, U.K., the company announced on LinkedIn. The awarding of the contract followed a competitive public tender and pre-qualification questionnaire on which Sheridan Lifts scored highest on technical quality and was deemed the best value. “We were actually the incumbent service provider to Cardinal Newman College at the time this contract was published; however, being a public sector organization, protocols were followed by the college to go out to tender to prove best value,” said Chris Chadwick, service director for Sheridan Lifts. “The specification was more in depth this time around, so we had to adapt our approach to meet the demands of the college.”
