Sheridan Lifts Grants Maintenance Contract to Hospice

Manchester-based Sheridan Lifts has granted existing customer Bolton Hospice an on-site lift maintenance contract free of charge, committing to regularly review the company’s six lifts. Sheridan Lifts says the contract is a token of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the independent hospice providing care consistently for so many years. The gesture will go a long way to providing stability to the hospice, as maintenance funds can now be distributed elsewhere to help others within the facilities. In return, Sheridan Lifts has been named an official “Platinum Patron” of the hospice, a title offered to people or businesses that are looking to make a positive impact in the local community. In addition to this service, Sheridan Lifts has also made a donation to the Bolton Hospice Workplace Raise-A-Thon. Tony Sheridan, managing director at Sheridan Lifts, says, “Bolton Hospice is very close to my heart, as my father and company founder Stan Sheridan spent his last precious few days there back in 1994. I hope our involvement now and in the coming years, providing maximum lift performance, is my way of saying thank you to the hospice on behalf of my dad and the whole family.”
