SJE Joins Drug Fighters, Helps Slain Officers’ Families
South Jersey Elevator (SJE), a Blackwood, New Jersey-based elevator company, is supporting groups that help with drug abuse prevention and with families of New Jersey police officers who died in the line of duty, the company announced in December. Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D) works within community schools to provide anti-drugs and anti-violence education for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. From L.E.A.D, leadership resources and management tools allow law enforcement agencies to effectively partner with educators, community leaders and families to deter drug use, drug-related crimes, bullying and violence. The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers’ Association (GSLEOA) was formed by officers helping families of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This organization sees the financial burden left on families and can help make a difference by raising needed finances.
