Duplex Group, with a presence in 18 Spanish provinces and a lift maintenance portfolio of more than 24,000 units, is integrating Ascensores Polo, based in La Rioja in northern Spain, into its operations, Interempresas reports. Both Duplex and Polo are family businesses specializing in elevator installation and maintenance. The newly expanded entity “will reinforce the excellent service offered by Polo to its customers,” Duplex CEO Fernando Tobar said. “The local team and the brand are maintained, but now they will have greater technical and technological support that will help us be faster and better.” The sixth company to become part of Duplex since 2021, Polo serves more than 2,000 elevators in La Rioja. Tobar said expanding accessibility will continue to be the focus, with “all actions certified in quality, safety and respect for the environment under the ISO 9001, 45001 and 12001 standards.”
