The European Federation for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EFESME) announced that Paolo Tattoli was elected convener of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Technical Committee (TC) 10/Working Group (WG) 7 in March. CEN TC 10/WG 7 covers accessibility to lifts for persons including those with disabilities. Tattoli, EFESME observed, is an ANACAM (Italian elevator association), EFESME and Small Business Standards expert who sits on various WGs and TCs. His becoming convener of CEN TC 10/WG 7 is “a source of great satisfaction for EFESME and further confirmation of the high quality of work he has done on several levels and with several different partners to support small, European medium-sized enterprises in the lift sector.”
