Among recent jobs for Long Island City, New York-headquartered TEI Group is a 12-elevator package for the 51-story Brooklyn Crossing, an 858-unit residential building at 18 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by The Brodsky Organization and Greenland Forest City Planners, the tower is the tallest of what will ultimately be 15 new buildings in the 22-acre Pacific Park master plan, according to New York YIMBY. With Tishman Construction serving as general contractor and McNamara Salvia as structural engineer, construction is complete, YIMBY reports. TEI tells ELEVATOR WORLD Brooklyn Crossing’s vertical-transportation system consists of seven overhead traction, two machine-room-less and three holeless hydraulic elevators.
