Texas-Based A&F Elevator Changes Hands

The ownership of Garland, Texas-headquartered A&F Elevator Co., Inc., serving the Dallas and Houston markets, has transitioned from the Mianabi family to Viktor Pastarnak, Maven Group — which facilitated the deal on behalf of the family — announced on October 3. Established in 1973, A&F is one of the oldest independent elevator companies in Texas, and had been run by the late Essie Mianabi for decades. The company provides maintenance, repair and modernization of elevators and escalators. Essie Mianabi’s wife and children, including daughter Pooneh Mianabi, continued to grow and expand A&F’s operations in both Dallas and Houston. Pooneh Mianabi said she “could not have found a better partner to take care of our employees and customers.” Pastarnak said A&F will maintain its focus on safety and customer service, “while deepening A&F’s unique and longstanding relationships in our key markets.”
