TKE Calgary To Host Inaugural “Strike Out CF” Bowling Event

Various sponsorship opportunities are available.

TK Elevator (TKE) Calgary plans to host its inaugural “Strike Out CF” bowling event to support company charity Cystic Fibrosis Canada on May 18 at YYC Bowling & Entertainment at 31130 42nd Avenue Southeast, Calgary, Canada. TKE Canada adopted Cystic Fibrosis Canada as its first-ever corporate charity initiative to raise awareness when one of its own, the late Meaghan Addante, became a voice for finding a cure as she lived with the disease — the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. A previous, similar initiative raised CAD34,062 (US$24,618) for research and care. “We are so proud of what we’ve already achieved, but we want to make this one even better,” TKE Calgary Branch Administrator Marley Ojala said. Those wanting to help can compete in the bowl-off, donate a raffle prize or become a sponsor.
