Toapanta Tapped to Lead Urban Elevator’s L.A. Operation

Urban Elevator Service Co. President Edward Pleban recently announced that Eddy Toapanta has been hired as vice president/principal in charge of sales for the Los Angeles office. Toapanta has more than 10 years’ experience in the elevator industry, including as a branch manager for TK Elevator, based in Burbank, California; a branch and regional sales manager for Amtech Elevator Services, an Otis affiliate serving Southern California; and project manager for the Wilshire Grand for Otis. From Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, Toapanta holds a BS in business administration and management and an MBA with a double emphasis in finance and marketing.
