Türkiye Construction Incident Results in Death

A 33-year-old elevator installer working at a construction site in the Yıldırım Beyazıt neighborhood, Yetim Street in the Çerkezköy district in Tekirdağ, a city on the north coast of Türkiye, died as a result of falling into the elevator shaft from the fourth floor of the building, BNN Breaking reports. Those present at the scene alerted the authorities, and the fire brigade was able to extricate the victim from the shaft, and he was taken to Çerkezköy State Hospital. Police are investigating the incident to ensure that adequate safety measures were in place at the time.
