TÜV SÜD To Consolidate Two Divisions

TÜV SÜD, one of the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification providers with global headquarters in Munich, Germany, announced on July 23 it is consolidating its Industry Service and Real Estate & Infrastructure divisions into the new Industry & Infrastructure division. The new division will be led by CEO Walter Reithmaier, Chief Financial Officer Markus Starflinger and Chief Operating Officer Stephan Jacoby. TÜV SÜD had approximately 30,000 employees and a turnover of EUR3.4 billion (US$3.9 billion) in 2024. In its Industry segment, there are 7,900 employees generating sales of more than EUR1.1 billion (US$1.29 billion). The competencies of Industry Service and Real Estate & Infrastructure segments are now combined in the new division, enabling the group to bundle services for the safety, efficiency and sustainability of plants, infrastructure and buildings.
