U.K.-Based UKLE Completes Lift Modernization at Hotel Golf Shop

UK Lift and Escalator (UKLE), headquartered in Gateshead, U.K., recently completed a modernization of the lift serving the golf shop at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Royal Sutton Coldfield, North Warwickshire. At the request of the client, UKLE retained the existing car interior and installed a custom car operating panel and landing signals. The UKLE team installed a new variable-voltage, variable-frequency controller, fitted new ram seals, performed re-roping, installed new door operators and overhauled landing door equipment. Including various other health and safety upgrades, the modernization was completed in three weeks.
