U.K. Lift Industry Mental Health Charter Cup Set for May

The Lift Industry Mental Health Charter Cup will be played on May 20 — during the U.K.’s Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 — at Dartford Football Club in Dartford, Kent, U.K. Fourteen teams are currently registered to participate in the event, which can take 20 total. Current teams include Safeline, Target Lifts, Robert Gerrard Insurance, Eze Lifts/Unique Lifts, BR Lifts, Apex/Titans/Cibes, MKM Lifts, two teams from Jacksons, two teams from Fujitec, Extreme Elevators, Centro and Dewhurst — the principal sponsor. Other sponsors include PEW’s, Fujitec, Our Mental Health Matters, BLDN Clothing and Deltron Lifts. Additional sponsors and advertisers are also being sought to participate. Refreshments will be available for purchase, as well as other stands to visit such as a cake stand; Tool Bank (a tool supplier); WD King (car company); an Indian head massage/reflexology and reiki stand, along with an essential oils and food nutrition stand; a mental health stand; and a raffle. The charter’s release key will also be available for purchase during the event. Proceeds from the event will go toward mental health courses in the lift industry, mental health in general and future events.
