  • The first presentation in the series, “Elevator Design Specification Guidelines” by Kevin Morse and Dale Hughes of Elevator Logic, LLC, is on March 23 from 9-10 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT). It will cover design criteria established by building and safety code for proper application of elevator types, fire alarm and fire protection, emergency power systems, electrical branch circuits, hoistway pit entrapment protection and more.
  • The second is “Peelle Door Safety and Applications” by Mike Ryan of The Peelle Co. on April 20 from 1-2 p.m. CDT. Ryan will take an in-depth look at the Peelle vertical slide freight elevator door. ASME vertical door hazard zones will be defined, and Ryan will explain how Peelle addresses these hazard zones. He will speak on how vertical doors differ from horizontal doors, including the top six differentiators and the various types and applications of Peelle vertical slide doors.
