Urban Elevator Service Announces Transitions Down South

Urban Elevator Service, headquartered in Cicero, Illinois, with at least 11 locations nationwide, recently announced an appointment and a promotion in Georgia and Tennessee, respectively. In Georgia, Kenny Hays has been named general manager of Urban Elevator Service GA, responsible for continued growth in Atlanta with oversight for the entire state. Hays has more than 15 years’ elevator industry experience working for OEMs. At Urban Elevator’s Tennessee branch in Nashville, Sean Yaros has been promoted to vice president/principal. With Urban Elevator since he began in the industry, Yaros relocated from the Cicero location. Yaros began his career at Urban Elevator as a truck driver and warehouse manager, then became an apprentice and mechanic upon joining the International Union of Elevator Constructors. Yaros built a solid track record in the field and eventually became modernization manager in charge of 27 teams. In Nashville, he is working alongside General Manager Jay Liles.
