VDA Adds VP of Business Development, Based in Detroit

Elevator and escalator consulting firm VDA® announced in June the addition of Pete Long as vice president of business development, based in the Detroit office with an initial focus on the Michigan; Toledo/Cleveland, Ohio; and Minnesota markets. With a BS in business from the University of Cincinnati, Long has more than 39 years’ experience in the industry in engineering, sales, finances and operations management. He has worked in vertical-transportation service, repair, modernization, construction and safety. At VDA, Long is tasked with researching and identifying potential clients and developing and maintaining client relationships. He coordinates with sales and operations teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
