VT Companies Named to World’s Best Employers List

Forbes recently released its seventh annual list of the World’s Best Employers, and a number of vertical-transportation (VT) companies made the list including Otis, Schindler, Mitsubishi Electric and KONE. The list, which ultimately spanned 43 countries, features the 700 companies with the highest scores. Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to determine the ranking, surveying more than 170,000 employees in more than 50 countries who work for multinational companies and institutions. According to Forbes, respondents were asked whether they would recommend their company to family or friends, and to rate their employer based on such criteria as talent development, remote working options, parental leave benefits, diversity, work-life balance and pride in the product or services the company offers. Participants could also rate companies within their own industries and countries. Each survey was anonymous, allowing participants to share their opinions openly and honestly.
