VT Industry Veterans Launch Washington State-Based Consultancy

Vertical-transportation (VT) industry veterans Kevin Egli and Steven Hobbs have launched Egli Hobbs Elevator Consulting, LLC (EHEC), based in the Olympia, Washington, area. Covering Washington and Oregon, EHEC’s consulting services include new construction, modernization, due diligence, code compliance and ongoing maintenance. Egli and Hobbs have more than 50 years’ combined VT experience, most recently serving as consultants in the greater Seattle area with VDA, Inc., and Lerch Bates, respectively. Prior to working at VDA, Egli was at Lerch Bates for more than 15 years, serving as a consultant and a regional manager. He had various sales and management roles at KONE for the first 10 years of his career. Hobbs began his VT career as an Otis sales executive, going on to serve as a modernization sales executive with KONE, a company he was with for more than five years. Hobbs has more than six years’ experience at Lerch Bates.
