Wittur AG, the Germany-based international elevator components supplier, has unveiled a new international supplier management platform powered by JAGGAER cloud-based business automation technology. Centrally enabling online management of key supplier base information, the portal is available in five languages and already includes approximately 4,000 suppliers covering more than 100 product categories. The new platform also supports risk-assessment analysis through dedicated scorecards, which Wittur observes is critical to the decision-making process. “The digitalization journey encompasses document management related to suppliers, down to the management of contracts and framework agreements,” Wittur states. One of the next steps for the platform is to integrate activities Wittur currently performs to track compliance with key environmental, social and governance, or ESG, criteria for all key suppliers.
