Wittur announced on May 25 that its Synchronous Gearless Lift Machine WSG-LF.S is now available to order for the North America market. WSG-LF.S is designed for low-rise and mid-rise applications with steel traction ropes — according to ASME A17.1/B44 with TUV Certification for UL/CSA electrical standards — and it offers high performance in terms of speed and load with a structure designed for the requirements of today’s high traffic elevators. The WSG-LF Synchronous Gearless Lift Machine is designed and manufactured in Germany; it uses high efficiency permanent magnets and can be applied to machine room and machine-room-less applications up to 3500 Ib. capacity with 1:1 suspension, or up to 6000 Ib. with 2:1 suspension running at 500 fpm. WSG-LF.S can be supplied as a standalone unit or complete with a custom bedplate with adjustable rope positions.
