Worker Trapped Under Elevator in Florida

A worker is recovering in the hospital after an elevator accident in a parking garage in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, on January 4, WPTV is among outlets to report. According to reports, the worker was underneath the elevator, and as he was making adjustments, there was a “release of hydraulic fluid, causing that car to come down on top of him.” He was then trapped underneath the elevator until crews were able to free him. He sustained injuries but was expected to survive.
