CANADIAN STANDARDS ASSOCIATION (CSA)

Canadian Standards Association (CSA) is a membership association serving industry, government, consumers and other interested parties in Canada and the global marketplace. A leading developer of standards and codes, CSA aims to enhance public safety, improve quality of life, preserve the environment and facilitate trade. To help people understand and apply standards, CSA offers information products and training. The Canadian Standards Association is a division of CSA Group.


CSA INTERNATIONAL (CSAI)

CSA International is a provider of product testing and certification services for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, gas and a variety of other products. Recognized in the U.S., Canada and around the world, CSA’s marks appear on billions of products worldwide. CSA International is a division of CSA Group, which also includes CSA, developer of standards and codes, and QMI, a leading North American management systems registrar.


INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH IN CONSTRUCTION (IRC) NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF CANADA

The National Research Council’s IRC is Canada’s construction technology center. Established in 1947, IRC provides research, building code development and materials evaluation services. Working with partners, IRC addresses issues that have a large economic impact, assisting industry to innovate and develop technologies that are safe, durable and cost effective.


TECHNICAL STANDARDS AND SAFETY AUTHORITY (TSSA)

Throughout the province of Ontario, TSSA regulates the safety of amusement devices, boilers and pressure vessels, elevating devices, fuels, operating engineers, ski lifts, and upholstered and stuffed articles. With headquarters in Toronto, the authority employs in excess of 400 staff, approximately 70 percent of whom work in operations. Governed by a 13-member board of directors with relevant backgrounds, the authority is accountable to the Ontario government.


VFA-Interlift e.V.

VFA-Interlift e.V. was founded in 1987 with the aim of promoting the use of elevators and escalators. The VFA also sponsors interlift, the largest elevator trade fair in the world, which takes place every two years.

TECHNICAL ACADEMY OF HEILBRONN E.V.

The Technical Academy of Heilbronn E.V. is the Institute of further education and training at Heilbronn University. It was established in 1970 on the initiative of business community (manufacturing sector) in Heilbronn to employ the skills of the professors and the infrastructure of Heilbronn University.


THE CHARTERED INSTITUTION OF BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERS (CIBSE)

CIBSE is an Engineering Council nominated body which gives professional accreditation. Advises universities, polytechnics and colleges on building services courses; initiates research groups, discussions and papers on all aspects of building services. Publishes technical guidance and organizes conferences and training courses.


NEDERLANDSE LIFTTECHNISCHE BEDRIJVEN (NLB)

The Metaalunie Branchegroup NLB, founded in 1997, deals with specific interests of smaller companies who are active in the production, the assembly, renovation, installation, reparation and maintenance of goods lifts and/or passenger lifts for the end user.


ISRAEL ASSOCIATION OF ELEVATOR MANUFACTURERS (IAEM)

IAEM comprises seven companies which handle 85% of elevator field activity. IAEM gathers once a fortnight and deals mainly in the fields of standards, professional training and the promotion of this branch. Mr. Meitus stands at the head of the organization.
