IEC provides voluntary world standards for electrical, electronic and telecommunications industries. Standards allow for electrical and electronic eqpt., systems and sub-systems to work together no matter where they’re designed, manufactured, assembled or used. IEC standards are used as the basis of national rules and standards in more than 140 countries.

ILEA is the trade association and advisory body for the lift and escalator industry, formed in January 2013.

Since 1973 BEEC has been dedicated to public safety concerning building equipment, elevators, escalators, and amusement rides and devices. Practicing training course for qualification of inspectors exchange of information researches and studies of safety measures.

Established 1949, 130 members and under the control of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

KoELSA was established on July 1,2016, as a government organization under the ministry of the Interior and Safety. KoELSA has been dedicated to statutory inspection, education of inspectors and other elevator personnel, safety campaign, training and assistance in technological development to maintain elevator safety according to Law on the Manufacture and Management of Elevators.

LEASA represents interests of local companies engaged in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of lifts, escalators, passenger conveyors and associated equipment. It coordinates the companies’ technical, contractual, commercial, labor, safety and training interests.
