Elevator Association of Minnesota

The purpose is to promote common interest & goals of all those in the vertical transportation industry. To encourage cooperation & interest among suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, consultants, inspectors, public & field employees. Inform those in the industry & the general public on the safety and operation of all vertical transportation equipment. To organize, hold & conduct meetings, discussions and seminars on issues affecting the vertical transportation industry.


ELEVATOR CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA (ECA)

The only national elevator industry labor organization in the United States to unite the independent contractor to negotiate a contract applicable to the Independent. Dedicated to the proposition that mutual respect between ECA members and labor represented by the International Union of Elevator Constructors is critical to developing positive joint initiatives for the union and our members.


ELEVATOR ESCALATOR SAFETY FOUNDATION (EESF)

Incorporated in 1991 as a charitable foundation, dedicated to safety and education of the general public for the vertical transportation industry. Contributions are tax deductible in the year given. NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AMUSEMENT RIDE SAFETY OFFICIALS (NAARSO)

Provides training forums related to amusement ride safety, administration, regulation and enforcement at all levels of city, county, state, provincial, U.S. and Canada. Fosters cooperation among regulatory officers themselves and between them and the many manufacturers, industrial, business and consumer interests affected by their official activities.


ASSOCIATION FOR FACILITIES ENGINEERING (AFE)

Since 1954, the AFE has provided its members with the resources they need to meet the challenges of plant and facilities engineering management. AFE is the largest and oldest organization devoted exclusively to facilities engineering professionals in manufacturing, health services, education, government and many other institutions


BOMI INSTITUTE (BOMI)

The BOMI Institute, established in 1970, offers three education programs: the Real Property Administrator (RPA), the Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA) and the Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) programs. INTERNATIONAL UNION OF ELEVATOR CONSTRUCTORS (IUEC)

For 100 years, the IUEC has maintained its commitment to encouraging membership of all field workers in the elevator industry. Currently, the IUEC represents in excess of 80% of all persons employed in the construction, service, maintenance and repair of elevators in the U.S. and Canada.


NATIONAL ELECTRICAL MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION (NEMA)

NEMA is the leading trade association in the U.S. representing the interests of electroindustry manufacturers. Founded in 1926 and headquartered near Washington, DC, its 430 member companies manufacture products used in the generation, transmission and distribution, control, and end-use of electricity. Domestic shipments of electrical products within the NEMA scope exceed $100 billion.

THE CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS INSTITUTE (CSI)

CSI was founded in 1948 to address the need for a common system of presenting and organizing construction documents. Today, more than 18,000 construction professionals are devoted to improving communication by formulating construction document standards, writing and producing technical documents, conducting educational programs and product shows.
