Australia’s tallest tower has introduced an extraordinary attraction — the KONE Digital Experience Display elevator, Australia’s first-of-its-kind sustainable and immersive elevator experience — through a partnership between KONE and SkyPoint, Inside Construction reports. KONE’s innovation transports passengers to the 77th floor of the Q1 Building on the Gold Coast in just 38 s— with a claim of being Australia’s fastest elevator. The KONE Digital Experience Car is described as “a portal to a multi-sensory adventure. Dynamic soundscapes envelop passengers upon entry, setting the stage for the journey ahead. Vivid colors project across the walls, while captivating themes unfold throughout the ride. It is an immersive experience that transforms the act of riding an elevator into a memorable event.” The attraction uses KONE’s UltraRope® technology along with energy-efficient machines with EcoDisc technology and the ReGenerate 800, collectively achieving energy efficiency of up to 95%.
