KONE Awarded Sao Khue Award

KONE has been awarded the Sao Khue Award 2025 by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) for its smart service robot application programming interface (API) solution, The Manila Times reports. The annual award is among the most prestigious honors in Vietnam’s information technology sector. The award is the company’s second Sao Khue Award after its first win in 2023 for the KONE 24/7 Connected Services innovation. KONE’s service robot API uses Internet of Things (IoT) technology to connect the company’s elevator control system with autonomous robots that can call elevators and navigate seamlessly across multi-floor buildings. The API-enabled delivery robots are currently being used at Phenikaa University Hospital (Hanoi) to transport medicines and medical supplies 24/7 across different hospital floors via the cloud-connected KONE MiniSpace™ DX class elevators.
