The Southwark Council resolved to grant planning approval for the EDGE London Bridge tower, Pilbrow & Partners reported in July. Developed by Dutch-based EDGE and designed by Pilbrow & Partners, the building will be located at 60-68 St. Thomas Street next to the London Bridge Station. It will be the most sustainable office tower in London, achieving BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum accreditations. The tower’s envelope allows daylight inside the building while limiting heat loss in the winter and overheating in the summer. A timeline for construction and completion is not available.
