TÜV SÜD plans to host a virtual event on September 8 at 9 a.m. British Summer Time aimed at providing details about what the new UK Conformity Assessment (UKCA) marking means for manufacturers of lifts and components. Allowing lifts and components to be sold on the U.K. market and applying to products that have already been CE-certified, the UKCA marking will become mandatory by January 2023 at the latest. These products will require separate certification for the U.K. market issued by a U.K.-accredited, approved body. Scheduled to speak is Jonas Conrady, TÜV SÜD head of New Technologies in the Area of Lifts, Cranes and Conveyors. To register, visit website
