The bids are being sought for the removal and replacement of two single escalators — one in Concourse A and one in Concourse B — plus an alternate contract for the removal and replacement of a pair of escalators at the east end of the airline ticketing area. Experienced and qualified firms are invited to bid to provide all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to properly handle the job. A pre-bid conference will be held November 18 at TAIT’s offices, Room A211, Airline Terminal Building, 7777 Airport Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the deadline to submit bids is 1 p.m. local time on December 2. Copies of general conditions, plans, specifications and other bidding documents are available and can be viewed at Airports Engineer Airline Terminal Room A217, Tulsa International Airport Tulsa. Electronic copies may be obtained via email to [email protected], or by calling (918) 838-5000. All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, bidder’s bond or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid, made payable to TAIT. Other requirements are listed; for more information, review the legal ad posted online.
