Turkey Elevator Industrialists Federation (TASFED) opened the third of the Elevator Academies at Kayseri Ayşe Baldöktü Vocational Training Center in Turkey on November 11. The first two previously opened in Ankara and Eskişehir within the scope of the protocol signed with the Ministry of National Education. All installations in the academy, which TASFED supplied through the sponsors, have been made by Kayseri Elevator and Escalator Industrialists Association (KAYSAD), affiliated with TASFED. Students will have the opportunity for hands-on-training in the latest technologies in the elevator industry with four lift shafts, programmable control panels, fully automatic and semi-automatic doors. In his speech at the opening ceremony, TASFED President Yusuf Atik stated that more Elevator Academies will be opened in order to meet the shortage of qualified personnel, which is one of the biggest problems in the industry. He also shared the good news with the guests that the next Academy will be opened in Gaziantep.
