Colley Elevator Co. Recommits Its Philanthropic Program

Bensenville, Illinois-based Colley Elevator Co. announces it is providing new commitment to “Colley Cares,” a philanthropic program tied to the company’s elevator modernization sales. Now in its second year, the program focuses on contributions to five charities each fiscal quarter. The charities selected are based entirely on employee suggestions. At the start of the quarter, staff from across the organization offer help regarding their preferred charities. Five are selected, and Colley Elevator earmarks US$100 from the sale of each modernization project during that time. At the end of the quarter, the funds are disbursed equally to the chosen organizations. To date, the company has donated more than US$12,000 to a variety of groups through the program. Colley Elevator, founded in 1908, is the longest operating independent elevator company in the Chicago area. For more information on its past and present charities, visit its website.
