New York-headquartered architectural practice Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) has announced the approval of Tower 36, a 635-ft luxury office adjacent to Miami, Florida’s Design District. The tallest in the neighborhood, the “Class-A” office tower will offer tenants sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and an array of amenities, including landscaped rooftop gardens. Developed by One Thousand Group, Tower 36 features a glass façade, gently curved podium and dual-toned metal fins that reference palm trees. The building’s podium includes ground-floor retail space, bicycle and car parking and a rooftop restaurant. Florida-based ODP Architecture & Design will serve as the architect of record on the project.
