Otis Named to Forbes Top Companies for Women List

Otis Worldwide Corp. was recently named one of the World’s Top Companies for Women, according to Forbes, which announced the award list on October 31. The World’s Top Companies for Women 2023 were chosen among multinational corporations and evaluated in several key areas: quantitative leadership data, public opinion surveys and independent employee survey responses from approximately 70,000 women in 37 countries. “The most powerful thing we can do is advocate, lead boldly and role-model for future generations. This means lifting up current and future women leaders and making sure their voices are welcomed and heard,” said Abbe Luersman, Otis executive vice president and chief people officer. In 2020, Otis was the first company in the vertical-transportation industry to sign the Paradigm for Parity’s® gender parity commitment. The company is on a sustainable path to reach gender parity in its executive ranks by 2030, after increasing female executive representation from 36% in 2021 to 39.2% in 2022. Last year, Forbes included Otis on its similar list of the World’s Top Female Friendly Companies.
