Oak Row Equities and Mariposa Real Estate have made an agreement to acquire Aimco’s 4.25-acre waterfront property at 1001 and 1111 Brickell Bay Drive in Miami, Florida, for US$520 million, Florida YIMBY reports. Expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, the deal will be the largest single land acquisition in South Florida to date. With more than 3 million ft2 of space to be developed, the area includes 485 ft of continuous Biscayne Bay frontage that is primed for ultra-luxury condominiums in one of Miami’s most desirable neighborhoods. It is a unique development opportunity, as the flexible zoning of the area allows for several towers to rise up to 1,049 ft. Oak Row Equities plans for the landmark project to redefine Miami’s skyline and set a new standard for urban luxury.
