Houston-based developer the Hanover Co. plans to build a 504-ft .-tall, 45-story apartment tower in downtown Austin, Texas, at Fift h and Lavaca streets in the historic warehouse district, Towers reported in January. No renderings were available at the time, but the source provided a rough idea of how the tower, designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz, would fi t into the downtown skyline. Should all approvals be obtained, the development will have a ground-level restaurant, a 10-story parking podium, apartments up to the 43rd fl oor and resident amenities above. Initially planned to be incorporated into the design, the Roosevelt Room cocktail lounge looks to be a direct neighbor.
