AKM Technical Inspection Services, authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology to carry out annual periodic inspections of lifts, has founded the AKM Lift Children’s Theater in partnership with Koza Theater. The children’s theater’s first play, which was established to raise awareness about the correct and safe use of elevators by children and prevent accidents that may occur, received great interest in Istanbul.
The entertaining children’s play named “Yaço and Doço” was written by veteran author Nurşen Yerlikaya, and important actors such as Nurşen Yerlikaya, Kadir Gültekin, Bahattin Ereş, Öykü Demirtaş, Mihriban Şen, Emin Özbey performed on stage. Muzaffer Yaşar, general manager of AKM Technical Inspection Services, said, “We wanted to bring the lift industry and art together. We founded the AKM Lift Children’s Theater because we wanted to teach children — who are our future — through art, in order to raise a conscious society. We are planning to stage our play in many cities in seven geographical regions, and we are currently planning to stage our play in 40 districts.”
