Elevator Industrialists’ Association (ASSDER), which only gathers the companies operating in the field of elevator maintenance, repair and installation together, meets for breakfast at Ataşehir Sembol Ocakbaşı Restaurant on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
ASSDER members, in particular the companies that operate in Istanbul, had the opportunity to meet in person for breakfast after a long hiatus due to the pandemic. At his welcome speech after the breakfast, President Turgay Kuluğ talked about their road map for unionization and their efforts on ministerial level.
Kuluğ said, “Concerning the chronic problems of the maintenance, repair and installation companies in Türkiye, setting floor price for maintenance fees for preventing unfair competition and the increasing personnel, fuel and other costs, due to the obligation of attendance at annual periodical controls that is conflicting with the most fundamental principles of the Constitution, make it a sticky situation. We will make all possible legal efforts for getting results on these issues.”
Karabük Provincial Director of Industry İsrafil Yıldız and Şevki Şarlıoğlu from Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Industry received the questions of the members after the breakfast and exchanged views of these problems. ASSDER members discussed the problems encountered in Market Surveillance practices as well as the problems related to unregistered companies that create unfair competition. Şarlıoğlu reminded listeners that the problems depicted by the members should be sent to the Provincial Directorate written notice so that they can be discussed at the ministerial level.
At the end of the day, the school council of Ali Fuat Cebesoy Elementary School awarded ASSDER members with a plaque and extended their thanks for the accessible elevator installed at the school in recent years.
