The PF model of devices was designed with accuracy and long product life in mind.

Dinacell Electrónica S.L., headquartered in Madrid, is introducing force-measurement tools designed to work with new-generation (NG) devices. The company began in 1994 with several load-cell products with applications in industries, including vertical transportation, cranes, silos, automotive manufacturing and cargo handling. Its products meet ESD and IPC® requirements.

At Interlift, Dinacell is showcasing its terminal fixed-point sensor PF, which consists of a force transducer that works on compression from a fixed point on a cable tensioner. PF measures force in elevator traction cables, belts and ropes. It is available in three models: K300, K500 and K1000, corresponding to the recommended weight at which to use a force transducer.

PF products are designed to work with NG, Wi-Fi connected mobile devices and laptops. These devices need Dinacell’s WRCT dongle to use an app (available in the Apple Store, Play Store or from dinacell.com) to check measurements and enable the devices to calibrate and configure the control unit. The Wi-Fi dongle, a remote weight-monitoring and wire-rope tension equalization wizard for tablets, smartphones and laptops, is connected via USB. The device measures and monitors load in elevators, and up to 12 individual ropes can be connected. This enables one to view the unequal tension of the ropes, which can then be adjusted to the desired tension in just a few minutes.

The most representative product of Dinacell’s NG series is Omega NG, a rope-tensioner kit that also provides information about the car weight and counterweight. Omega’s features vary by model. Dinacell observes:

“Our products are versatile with high resistance and are available at very competitive prices. They are engineered with maximum accuracy, long life and load-device control unit compatibility via USB or wire connection. We are continuously collaborating with our business partners to improve quality and deliver maximum customer satisfaction.”
