Interlift 2023 Continues to Grow

Exhibition space reserved at interlift 2023 has already increased by 40% compared to the previous year.

AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH, the organiser of interlift 2023 international vertical-transportation trade fair in Augsburg, Germany, on 17-20 October, announced that the fair continues to grow with 40% more participants registered now compared to 2022. Interest from Mediterranean countries Italy, Spain and Greece is high with one-fifth more exhibitors coming from these three countries. Thirty-five component manufacturers from 11 countries will also participate in the fair in Augsburg for the first time in 2023. Extensive joint participation from Chinese and Indian companies is expected. After Germany, the host country, Italy ranks first in the number of participating companies with 19%, followed by Türkiye with 15% and Spain with 8%.

Participants can give free admission tickets to their customers.

As one of the many innovations of interlift 2023, companies participating in the fair can get free admission tickets from the service centre for their customers. Individual customers can register via interlift.de and get their admission tickets as usual.

Hotel capacity increased by 20% compared to the fair in 2019.

Bed capacity of hotels in Augsburg, the meeting point of global elevator and escalator sector, reached 6,800 beds with an increase of around 2,300 beds compared to the fair in 2019. Hotels in Aichach-Friedberg and surrounding villages near Augsburg also offer an additional capacity of 4,700 beds. 

As usual, direct shuttles from Munich International Airport and Augsburg train station to the trade fair will be available as a convenience to visitors arriving by public transportation. Visitors arriving by private cars can use the large car park at WWK Arena, where they can be transported to the trade fair free of charge.

The VFA-Interlift selection committee will announce the selected presentations and VFA Forum program by mid-June.
