Organizer VFA-Interlift has set several figures for Interlift 2013, to take place on October 15-18 in Augsburg. First, 48,000m2 of the Augsburg Trade Fair Centre has been reserved for its 504 exhibi-tors. The businesses come from 40 countries, with 71% of those from outside Germany. Italy and China dominate foreign participants, with at least 88 and 55 exhibitors, respectively. In terms of floor space covered, country representation is, in de-scending order, Italy, Spain, China, Turkey, Swe-den, Greece, France, the U.S., Switzerland and South Korea.
Elevatori, ANACAM (Italian elevator association) and ANICA (Italian elevator components associa-tion) have partnered with Interlift to make Italy the “partner country” of the exhibition. They are to promote the country’s products through an “Italia Magnifica” display. The two associations are also responsible for a “100 Years of Elevator Industry in Italy” exhibit, including historical elevator com-ponents. The Italian segment will be complete with a “gastronomic corner” and the “international exhibitors’ evening” of October 15 under the motto “La Notte Italiana.”
Italy is also represented in Interlift Forum, with a contribution from the country each day. The forum program is now set, with 45 experts from 12 coun-tries. Additionally, VFA trade fair training is set for October 14 in Hall 7 of the conference center.
