Bob Denniston retired from Elevator World, Inc.’s board of directors at the group’s annual meeting in April.

Bob Denniston retired from Elevator World, Inc.’s board of directors at the group’s annual meeting in April. He joined the board in 1977 and has served as chairman since 1999. Denniston was born in La Paz, Bolivia, where his father was involved in tin mining. The family moved to Mobile, Alabama, in 1928, where his father founded the American National Bank and Trust Co., which exists today as Regions Bank.

Denniston graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and has practiced law in Mobile since 1941, with the exception of four-and-a-half years of service in the U.S. Navy during World War II and two years during the Korean War. He is currently of counsel to Wright, Green, P.C., concentrating his practice in business, property, wills, trusts, estates and federal taxation.
