TASFED Holds a Meeting in Balikesir On Maintenance Costs

 An information session on TSE EN-13015 Standard and maintenance costs was held by Cem Bozdağ, vice president of Türkiye Elevator Industrialists Federation (TASFED), for the lift companies in Balıkesir, who convened at Balıkesir Metropolitan City Council. The information session extensively covered the TS EN-13015 Standard for the Maintenance + Maintenance Instructions of Lifts and Escalators. The meeting provided information on how lift maintenance should be conducted, the responsibilities of companies and building managers, risk assessment, maintenance instruction manuals and Annex A maintenance checks. Additionally, a cost analysis for maintenance was conducted using a fictional company as an example. In this cost analysis, it was calculated that the cost of a single maintenance task for a company holding a Service Competence Certificate with a total number of 400 units to be maintained would cost TRY 926.23, including VAT, in 2024.
