New components range from simple to technologically advanced.
Common Footprint Cellular Modem Certified
Janus Remote Communications of Aurora, Illinois, has had its LTE910CF v10.00 Category M1 Embedded Cellular Modem certified by AT&T and PTCRB. The product integrates Telit’s ME910C1-NA LTE module as its cellular engine with the LTE910CF v10.00 Common Footprint units that operate in LTE bands (B17), (B13), (B4) and (B2). It can be integrated into any new or existing hardware applications via its standard 20-pin DIP-pin configuration for LTE Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity. Users can choose to mount the devices directly onto their programmable circuit board or simply mount in a DIP socket or header. The modems use low power and bandwidth, and are designed for IoT applications. Applications include fleet and asset management, vending, security, health and safety, remote monitoring, e-maintenance and many telemetry applications.
Hydraulic Hoses
EMI PORTA’s hydraulic hose is available in both 1/2- and 3/4-in. sizes and comes with a choice of male or female swivel fittings. It meets or exceeds the performance requirements of SAE 100R2AT and is available in standard and custom lengths. The Arlington Heights, Illinois-based company says it assembles and tests all its hoses in-house to meet ASME 17.1-2016 standards. Specifications for its 1/2-in. (3/4-in.) hoses are
as follows:
- ♦ A working pressure of 4,000 (3,100) psi
- ♦ A minimum bend radius of 7.09 (9.45) in.
- ♦ A burst pressure of 14,000 (9,000) psi
New Incremental Encoder Series
Düsseldorf, Germany-based TWK-ELEKTRONIK GmbH has added the FOI series of incremental encoders to its range of magnetic encoders. They are compact and offer a high level of resolution and accuracy, which the company says were previously only obtained from optical encoders. They are also robust like magnetic encoders. Any desired number of pulses between one and 16,384 can be obtained. They provide outputs A, B, Z and their inverted signals, available with either
Push-Pull (HTL) or RS422 (TTL) output drivers. The sensor shaft is designed for axial and radial shaft loads of 40 and 110 N. Their operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C, and their protection rating is IP65. The 750,000-plus versions, including those for elevators, are available from stock in small quantities.
