The company has the highest elevator test tower in Turkey and the fourth-highest in Europe. Besides its three hoistways within the tower, a specially designed elevator with a capacity of 1.600 kg and a speed of 2.5 m/sec was put into use.

Yükseliş Elevator, which was founded by Yüksel Tepe in 1980, has built the last stage of the factory project, which began construction in 2007. The project consisted of 3 phases and a total project area of 26.500 square meters.

Yükseliş Elevator, which started production in a 75-square-meter workshop located in Ankara Demetevler, continued its production in 1990 in its 320-square-meter factory in Ostim, Ankara. Due to the increasing demands, the company established its new factory consisting of 1.200 square meters in Ostim in 1999, and started the construction of its manufacturing plant in Ankara Kahramankazan in 2007 to increase export volume. Yükseliş Elevator, firstly, continued its production in a 6.200-square-meter part of the facility consisting of three phases. Later on, it increased the size of the production facilities to 21 thousand square meters through the construction of the second phase in 2015. In 2020, it finally built the third phase of the project including a production facility consisting of 26.500 square meters in total.

Manufacturing extraordinary products

The company, which responds to all needs of elevator applicator companies with its product range that includes complete elevator systems, elevator cars with fully automatic doors, buttons, bearing carcasses, elevator components and special products, such as rotating elevators and inclined elevators. The company also attaches great importance to R&D., and can easily meet the extraordinary needs of its customers.

Yükseliş Elevator has grown its trade volume through its partnerships with domestic and international companies. The company delivers its products, which are produced with high-tech machinery (makine parkuru), expert staff and high-quality manufacturing for export to 54 countries around the world.

New aim in production: Gearless elevator motors

Yükseliş Elevator started to manufacture elevator cars and semi-automatic doors in 1980 when the company was founded. The product range of the company has been producing fully automatic floor and cabin cars since 2000 with increasing demand.

The company, which started to manufacture elevators rotating on the axis of the cabin in 2009 [Elevator World Turkey, March 2017], started to manufacture electronic glass in 2010 and mechanical floor and elevator car buttons in 2014.

Yükseliş Elevator, which started to produce inclined elevators in 2017, also aims to start the production of gearless elevator motors by applying the latest technology to the elevator motor factory. The production is planned to start in 2021.

“Asansör sepeti” to go into service soon

Yükseliş Elevator currently gathers all its manufacturing and administrative units under the same roof. It continues to manufacture cars, carcasses, floors and car buttons in the first phase of its production facility, and the production of fully automatic elevator hall and cabin doors is carried out in the second phase of the facility, which consists of three phases total.

In the last quarter of this year, Yükseliş Elevator opened its showroom, sales and other administrative offices in the third phase of its new factory. In this way, it provides integrity between units in its services, and creates a concept that appeals to national and international visitors in ways better in line with today’s dynamics.

In addition, the company has completed the final preparations of the anticipated “Asansör sepeti” project. It also aims to bring ultra-comfort and extra confidence to end-users by bringing together all the materials that elevator practitioners need in the indoor area of 1.200 square meters, which contains elevator-related products, from needle to thread, pocket-knife to welding machine, flashlight to breaker hand tools, and work safety labels to safe scaffolding, all with the best quality.

Robotic systems are preferred in production

Yükseliş Elevator uses robotic systems and CNC-controlled benches in its productions, and maintains high-quality production within its wide range of machinery (makine parkuru) in sheet-metal cutting, twisting, machining and all other production areas. The company is continuing the final preparations of its third phase of motor and elevator safety components to be produced.

The highest test tower in Turkey

What makes the third and final phase of Yüseliş Elevator project special is that it contains the highest elevator test tower in Turkey and the fourth highest in Europe. Besides of three hoistways in the tower, a specially designed elevator with a capacity of 1.600 kg and a speed of 2.5 m/sec was put into use. The preparations will be completed in the first quarter of 2021 and will be exhibited after the installation of an elevator that has a 4.0 m/sec speed. The company aims to perform the tests and applications of 6.0 m/sec elevator systems. Subsequently, it aims to offer quality and safe products that are fully compliant with the requirements of the rapidly growing construction sector.

Export to China is the first in the Turkish elevator industry

Yükseliş Elevator attracted attention with an elevator project that rotates on the axis of a car that shapes architectural structures with its technology. It was first introduced at the Elevator İstanbul Fair in 2009. Later, the product, that was unveiled at Langfang International Elevator & Escalator Expo 2010 in China, was exported to China, and broke new ground in the Turkish elevator industry.

Another project that was carried out by the company was an inclined elevator project. Yükseliş Asansör first exhibited the inclined elevator product that makes a difference in the sector at the Elevator Istanbul 2017 International Fair. So, the company attracted attention once again with its engineering understanding and technical capabilities.

“We tried to turn the crises into an advantage by opening up to new markets”

Yüksel Tepe, the founder of Yükseliş Elevator and chairman of the executive board, made statements about the built third stage. He said that as elevator manufacturers, they did not fall behind in growth, as the construction industry has peaked since 2001. Underlining that investors can respond to all demands in the sector with additional factory areas and employment, Tepe added, “From this point forth, we, as the sector, have turned toward our export activities more. Our industry has not been affected badly by the global crisis in 2018 and the pandemic process we have experienced this year because of the companies’ previously increased supply power and the success of turning the excess capacity into new markets.”

“We aim to produce all elevator components”

Tepe completed his speech, saying, “As Yükseliş Elevator, we have done our part in these processes. We have made great strides toward becoming a manufacturer of all elevator components and maintained our investments without any interruption. We now continue to work with all our strength to provide the best service to our national and international partners. We are very hopeful about the elevator industry. We are sure about seeing the first elevator companies in the 500 and 1000 ranking of the best exporters of Turkey in the near future.”
